TOOLS · QR CODE
Make a QR code from any link or text.
Type a URL or any text, and the QR code updates as you type. Download it as a PNG for a poster, a business card, or a slide.
What a QR Code Is
A QR code is a square pattern that stores text, usually a web address. A phone camera reads it and opens the link, so it's a quick way to move people from a printed page or a screen to a website.
How This Tool Works
The code is generated in your browser using the qrcode library. Nothing you type is sent to a server, so a private link or note stays on your device.
Tips for a Reliable QR Code
- Keep the text short. Longer text makes a denser code that's harder to scan from a distance.
- Print it at least about 2 cm (under an inch) square, and leave a clear white border around it.
- Test the code with a phone before printing many copies.
